I do think the mouth-opening makes the suit less cool, but it's a minor thing for me.

On you they seem to work.

By the way, there are only three periods in an ellipsis. Ease back on the throttle, son.

And to think decades ago it was really really hard to get a superhero movie made on a regular basis.

Is this comic book "Kick-Ass" any good? (Besides the JRjr art, that is?) The last creator-owned thing I read from Millar was "Wanted" and I felt like I needed a shower after reading each issue... didn't really care for it.

I like it. But if that's how you felt about Wanted, I'd recommend just waiting to see the movie first, and then, if you like that, get the comic.

Darin, I read it and I think it's good.

But I do feel like I need a shower after each issue. It's the most violent thing I've ever seen in comics, at least in terms of comically graphic violence. It's like Quentin Tarantino violence.

I "Byrne stole" an issue in the LCS. The art is great but it isn't my style of comic.

Actually no one wanted t make this so Vaughn self-financed it. If it hits big, he will clean up!!

Tried the book, despite the stupid title, and it didn't hold me. Millar at his most self aggrandizing worse. After I read Watchmen I often thought about doing a more realistic book and came up with my own heroes but his is just ugly.

I just saw the movie and while still violent, they had to Hollywood a bunch of it and killed a lot of the cool surprise stuff. The kid rocked though.

What do you mean by Hollywooding it? (Isn't it fun when we verb nouns?)

Have you seen it yet? Without spoiling it, look at what happened with his girl friend in the comic and what happened in the movie and the surprise weapon at the end. That's just for starters.
