That's actually a decent analogy, seeing as how they started their careers as skinny teenaged Brits who sounded like Black American R&B singers, and were widely mocked 20 years after their debut.
We'll see if Rick has street cred 10 years from now, like Tom regained in the late '80s/'90s.
