A tale of epic proportions.
This is gonna be a mix between Love and Rockets, Sandman, Promethea and Rasl.
Basically it starts with a party-loving chick named Symphony (her momma was a hippie) who ends up in a car crash and has a vision that saves her life. Her mother died in an mental ward and her dad is the typical distant businessman type. Before you know it she starts having visions of strange, otherworldy, supernatural creatures invading our world and awakens to a transcendent level of reality that she's never even heard of before. She starts a spiritual, counter-culture movement that ultimately digs down to the very beginnings of our history and the meaning of existence, and an epic exploration of the multi-verse. In later editions Big Brother and the religious right will be heavily persecuting them.

A shot of a random show:

A sample page pencilled in (yes, I know, the panels are SMOOSHED, it'll be redone):

The first piece was done in Prismacolor markers, which are expensive and can be difficult to be precise with. I've also fiddled with the idea of using woodless watercolor pencils. I want each page to be a piece of art, but different types of segments will use different media (for instance, probably pastels for dream sequences).
I have other ideas on the stove, but this is my baby and the one I'm gonna spend a hell of a lot of time on. I've been in the planning stages for years. It's really hard to get past the idea stage sometimes, especially when it's a story you really care about.
Comments/compliments/criticisms completely welcome.
Thanks!
