Thanks Trevor.

Nagoo, nope, I have the box set and right now I'm too busy trying to make covers for the films that I don't have covers for. Maybe someday.

If you ever have the time and get inspired, I would love to see a POTA cover that doesn't employ the Statue of Liberty or Roddy McDowel.

Already gathered images to play with, plus it'll give me a chance to use the POTA font I have.

Oddest posters I've found:

I like the one that features Nova screaming "Charlton Heston!"

Living in a world ruled by apes wouldn't be too bad if you had Nova with you.

How I spent the first few days of my vacation:

A set for the first three Harry Palmer films starring Michael Caine.

And my 440th (give or take a few) cover just might be my favorite, the original 1932 The Mummy.

That's the best Mummy cover I've ever seen.

The original poster is by a guy named Martin Ansin, you can see them here:

I had to change the logo, the original didn't look too good when I enlarged to it.

Great hero shot of Chuck for the back cover of a future POTA cover.

I might use that, but right now I'm touching up one of the original posters at a picnic table on top of a hill over looking Raystown Lake while posting on my iPhone. No Internet on my laptop so I can't get that pic until I home Sunday.

Here's one I finished right before leaving for Raystown, two versions for this old Hammer film using various photographs because I hated the original posters I found.

Wow, I couldn't watch Peter Cushing in anything without thinking of Tarkin.

I grew up watching him in horror films on Chiller Theater every Saturday night, so my reaction was "Hey there's the guy who stars in all the horror movies in this really cool sci-fi movie." The man was a very good actor, shame he was typecast, although from every interview I've seen and read about Cushing, he didn't seem to mind at all. He also starred in 26 episodes of a Sherlock Holmes show aired on BBC. Sadly, only 6 episodes are known to exist due to BBC's habit of reusing tapes to record new shows.
