Where's the high-res of Gerrys Defenders piece by Smitty (I think it was)? Or am I being too greedy? :)

Is Hawkeye's right hand supposed to be purple? Otherwise, stunning as always!

Apparently that is how he was coloured for a bit - that was a request from the client :)

Hawkeye doesn't have any fingernails on that hand so I think it's right to assume his hand is clothed by his costume.

You must really hate John Byrne, having the temerity to COLOR his art.

Great job as always Ian.
And as for Byrne not wanting his art colored I can understand it. He has mentioned that when he draws these commissions he does it with the intent of that they are in b&w, and if they were meant for coloring he would have drawn them differently. As an artist I can see where he would feel a little protective how his work is handled.
Heck he even allowed a coloring thread in his forums, but what pissed him off is a bunch of people telling him how "his" work should look, and being disrespecful of him and not keeping comments about coloring in the coloring thread only like he asked.

Also as an artist, I would fall to my knees begging to have Ian color one of my pieces. There's a difference between saying I'm bugged when someone colors my work badly and saying it bugs me when ANYONE colors my work.
