I love how you made The Vision's cape see through and we see the building.

That was one of the very first things I thought about when I first saw the version of this that Gerry had coloured :)

BTW, I'm sure you get this all the time, but...

1) Which program do you use to color stuff? I just got an Adobe Creative Suite and would like to dabble in coloring.

2) Any tutorials on how to go about coloring comic art?

3) I know it varies piece to piece, but on average, how long does it take to color something?

Ian has posted a lot of tutorials here in the drawing board, Hanzo. Take a look! :)

Y'know, I am so inexperienced with color, I actually need the most remedial stuff possible. Like how to color without coloring over the linework. The only thing I know is paintbucket for that.

Hey, I've done a lot with paintbucket! I can't color at all, at least all this fancy shmancy photoshop 'puter stuff Ian and others do so brilliantly.

I use Photoshop 5.5. Pretty much the same as the CS programs (actually, those are apparently more advanced), but it does what I need it to do :)

Well, as Jeff pointed out, I have done a few tutorials here :)

As for the very basic stuff, I've never done any. If you go to http://www.digitalwebbing.com , their 'color' area might provide you with the types of links/tutorials that you are looking for.

A simple single-figure illustration will take me a half hour or so.

Something really big, like that latest Avengers piece, five hours or so.

I will admit I'm kinda fast, though
