Hey IMWANkers,

Here's a new comics project of mine that I'm shopping around to publishers. It's called PROJECT: HUMANO. Let me know what you think!

I liked it, I'd read more, and I'd purchase this comic.

It doesn't have talking apes, which is disappointing, but I'd still give it a chance. ;)

This is wonderful, Steve. You are so gifted. The story is well paced and keeps me interested in what's going to happen next. The characters are well drawn and I like the additional sketches for little sister also. Keep up the great work... and please post some more. Thanks.

 :D

Looks good, who's providing the art on this?

I like it, only one nit, and its pretty minor.

The bubbles are really large, with a lot of wasted space. It makes it look like a translated piece that hasn't had enough text to fit in. Is that deliberate?

Other than that, really good.

A little miscommunication led the artist to draw in the balloons during the art process. He's going to leave that for the letterer from now on.

Jeong Mo Yang, who did the art on my book "Professional Manga". He's the guy you met at AnimeFest.

That's what I thought, but I'd rather not assume. He said you two were working on a project, nice to see a preview of it.

Yep! We've gotten some good feedback from editors already, so it's only a matter of time. Submission packages are going in tomorrow's mail to Dark Horse and Viz.

Ironically, I heard from an editor today about a different, earlier project! He's kicking it to the higher-ups.

That was a really good show. We sold a crapload of books and comics, and I got to meet Robert K and his friends. That Mongolian BBQ place was gold, Jerry, gold!

BTW, the guy who kicked it to the higher ups wrote back and said no. And I've gotten another no today. Rejection is tough to take sometimes.

Moving this to the drawing board for the time being.

Why, out of curiosity?

Because it's art? Would you rather it be on the writers block?

I'd rather it stay in the playroom, as it's more comics related than art related.
