EXCELLENT! That's a great piece, and a beautiful job on the coloring, Greg!

Thanks! Here is another version with more of an "old photo" feel. This was more like I intended at first, but I have color calibration issues!

Frank,

Thanks! I just don't have the time. I am slow and meticulous, so I guess I "grow roses" too much to make the schedule of a monthly book. I have been coloring for about two years now, so maybe I will get faster with time!

The Thunderbolt body effect and the golden JSA letters are a couple of details you can't see with the piece at the size I posted. I was very happy with how they turned out!

Greg,
The Thunderbolt and Logo look incredible close up. On the smaller
versions they're my least favorite parts. Seeing them at 100%, I can see
what you were going for and really like it.

Leo,
I felt the same way seeing them small! Some things look good on a large scale, but don't translate when taken down to the size of a printed comic page. I will learn eventually!

One more. A little compromise on the color hue and I decided that a group like the JSA would have big golden doors.

Final version (I think). I made the JSA logo a little more golden and a little less brassy. I didn't like the way The Flash's face looked, so I reworked it. I also changed the blue in both Batman and Superman's costumes. Going for a little more of a leather cape and cowl on Batman. Wonder Woman's right arm and face have also been updated.

Bump for sheer impressiveness and a quick note to Greg: I printed another of your colour-jobs and secured it to the back of a map of the Baxter Building! Yer gonna be famous whether you WANt it or not!
