Many thanks for the kind words guys. I especially liked your Alan Davis comment, David! I'm a fan of his work as well yet never recognized his influence in my own stuff 'til now really.
I may layout some other ideas with the character. Would definitely love to get a shot at doing a Hellboy book or backup story!

Thanks for noticing, Gerry! Indeed, the piece is an homage of sorts to the cover to Hulk #1.
Thanks too, Simon - LOVE your caption(!), though my skills as a letterer leave much to be desired (as evident in the scratchy masthead I threw in!)
Should I work this up into a more finished form, would you mind if I were to include your caption?
