It's interesting the different interpretations of the woman in the background. Some had her facing backward, others forward, while most kept the black silhouette as drawn. All of them were well done, but my favorites are the ones that evoke the coloring on Eisners collected Spirit books.
I got beat down with a pipe wrench. Oh well, it was fun and I learned a few things. It was my first time inking. It takes a steady hand my friend. I don't think I'll be taking food out of Mark Farmer's mouth anytime soon.
I remember hating Mark Farmer's inks at first (I was used to Davis inking his own stuff), but I now realise that the two go together like Fred and Barney.
