Curt was incredible. I bought the biography, Curt Swan: A Life In Comics by Eddy Zeno and was amazed by Curt's pencils.

With all due respect to the other artists who have drawn the character, Swan was the consummate Superman artist. He was also my favorite classic LSH artist, although I understand he disliked drawing them.

All is takes is some lines and some squares. I always knew this drawing thing was a lot easier than it looked!

I was reading through Superman Vol. 1 #313 and saw this little beauty from Curt Swan and Dan Adkins. I just adore the look on Supergirl's face in the first panel.

Those three panels tell me everything I need to know about what's gonna happen next.

This has to be one of my favorite Swan/ Superman tales...it came out a few months before I was born...I'm sure I first read it in one of the Superman Family books in the 70's.
