The old one expired and won't let me post. That's fine, I think I was a very different person then, and most of the images expired anyway. But hey, on to new stuff.

In between working out panels for Christine, I tried watercolors for the first time since probably kindergarten. Boy, I suck  Anyway, here's the first try, using that little travel set I bought the other weekend.

That looks really good.

Your new stuff's so much better than your old stuff, B.G.! ;)

Nice stuff, watercolors are the best way to color fantasy comics, IMO.

I absolutely cannot WAIT to see the final product of those aforementioned panels. Or perchance, even a rough draft? Pretty please?

There's nothing I'm ready to show yet (boy, drawing is hard!), but I'm working on it....

A 'work in progress' shot!

Best one ever, BG! ;)

Thanks. Totally unintentional. It's a little corner of my home office (I telecommute for work).

My brother has gotten me into painting fantasy miniatures. Here's the first two I've done. Hopefully I'll improve, 'cause he's been doing it for years and is light years better than me. ;)

Are those figures from one of those random D&D boxed figures sets?

Nope. The owlbear is from a painter starter kit, and the redhead is part of a Wizkids unpainted two-pack. The random figure boxes come pre-painted.

AH, okay. Thanks. I like the owlbear figure in any event. I could use some owlbears.

Nice. The paints are color-coded to D&D Monster skin/fur standards.

Alas… no. I don't have the money any more to buy figures and paint sets like this.
I need to conserve the cash and make it last as long as I can.
