So, for this month's art challenge, I thought I'd go for something a bit less specific - ROBOTS!!

Any ol' robot will do. Giant mecha. Nanobots. Those floor-scrubbing curling rock-sized ones.

Evil robots. Good robots. Neutral robots. Any alignment at all, really.

So, have some fun with this, folks!

I thought I'd start everyone off with a couple of robots I drew up last Friday night - a friend had invited me over to her place for a Drink and Draw party, where everyone had beers and drew stuff. While the theme evolved (or devolved) into dinosaurs with guns, it started with robots. So, here are a couple of pictures that I did (note, however, that these weren't actually scanned from what I can tell - I do believe she just took digital photos of the pictures and then posted them to her Facebook page - I had left the pictures there when I left the party at around four in the morning):

Oooh... this one I am gonna be in on. Maybe not this weekend (monthly comic shipment comes friday), but next I will give it a shot.

Jay - yeah, it was great! It was the first one this woman had held, and was a huge success - we'll definitely be doing that again!

I did this about a month or so ago for a strip I'm (sort of) working on called Rocket and Spaceboy.

Although I am the world's worst artist...if it's pictures of robots, I'm in. Heaven help you all, I'm in.

I'll work on my 'masterpiece' this weekend.....

Yeah, Robots beat dishes anyday. Seriously, in a fight, robots would TOTALLY smash dishes.

Nice work so far by all. 3 days in, and I think there are more submissions than March's Torch Challenge.

Here's one I did few months back. (is there a limit on how many we can submit?)
