I hope this works better cause I'm tired of looking at it. :D

I tried the multi-colored masks. The problem is 1. The purple and the blue become totally lost against that background and worse, 2. The orange and the red dominate both because of the color and because they are next to each other. I didn't design it with that in mind. So we're staying with red for all of them.

Also, making the nunchaku more noticeable involved more redrawing than I wanted to do. The design will be larger than shown here. So if it's a flaw it just stays a flaw.

The one advantage of rendering the weapons is that it now can be made to work on black. It didn't with the cut-outs:

You know the Turtles better than I, so I defer to your judgement re: the mask color. The design looks better overall. The only thing I'd suggest would be to bring the "End of the Line" down closer to the window frame.

I don't know if I know them better than you. I do know they were all red when they first were around. The different colors is a marketing choice I'm sure so it's easier to tell them apart but I don't know when that happened. I mainly know them from the TV show and the first three movies. The change wouldn't work anyway for the reasons I already stated. I would have positioned them differently when I first started if I had had that in mind. Since they're on a separate layer I tried shifting them around like Colorforms but that didn't work either so I'm stuck with it.

And yeah, that line needs to be shifted down. It actually starts to overlay the top of the artwork since that was very dark so I may have to cut that down to move the type down. But no problem there.

Thanks for the input, Paulo. Always appreciated. :ohyes:

This does look more clear than it did before.
I feel like maybe there should be a comma after "End of the line"

Grammatically you are right, but on a t-shirt I think it is a different story.

Maybe an ellipsis...?

I don't think punctuation is necessary. The break up of the sentence by the image implies a pause.

Probably not necessary, but it might add something. Worth exploring, perhaps.

It'd lose symmetry.

Bubbles is correct. It would just add one more thing to an already jam-packed design. I originally had a cityscape behind the Turtles. Hardly anyone is more a stickler for correct grammar than me but not in this context. Besides I want the "Dudes" to be like a small surprise after you read the top line. Something that all Turtle fans will recognize as part of the whole schtick. A comma would just lead you to expect another word and bypass the illo. A distraction.

I didn't have any type when I first conceived it. I'd rather just leave the lines off than to start futzing with punctuation. You could argue for quotation marks, too. And a period after "Dudes".

This is so spot on that Jacob deserves a hug.

I think you have done a great job, Rick. Don't put a comma in and the weapons are much clearer.

Okay, I'm a convert.

On another note, there sure are a lot of entries for TMNT.

I still think there should be a comma :paranoid:

then again, I'm not the target audience. I'd probably never wear a TMNT shirt.

Poets will sing of this day as the day Shubbles officially became no more.

sorry, mate. it isn't that I DON'T like them, it is more so that I don't like them enough to purchase a t-shirt dedicated to them. I do have a few really awesome Futurama shirts, if that helps get the Shubbles ball rolling again.

That does help. Truth be told I don't own any Ninja Turtles shirts either and probably wouldn't buy any. Although in fairness I usually don't like spending much money on clothes at all. Especially not t-shirts. I already own too many t-shirts.

I have a t-shirt buying problem. And a shoe buying problem. And a dress buying problem. :paranoid:
I own 5 or 6 Futurama shirts, now.

Wow. That had to have run you close to $100 all told.

Maybe not though, I did get a pretty kick-ass Pac-Man shirt for $10 at Target once. I also have a pretty awesome Venture Bros. shirt, but I didn't buy that. It's also more than likely a bootleg, because there is very little legitimate Venture merchandise and there are a lot of great bootlegs out there.
