Yeah, I know... I said booty... I wanted a place to share some of the art I collected this convention. To start with, two pics I got from Paul Ryan, the artist of the Phantom comic strip. He had a nice pencil sketch of the Lady Blackhawk, Zinda.  And gave my grandson his own color art print of the Avengers, just because he was so nice.

From Matt Wagner, who really was pleasant, and did this Margo Lane for my wife, I think because he knew she really wasn't a comic fan (though she IS a fan of the Shadow!).  One of my GA Flash drawings I picked up this weekend, and the only one in color!

A relatively fast drawing from George Perez. I love his energy as he converses, does pictures, draws, and all other ways that he interacted with his fans. Just a genuinely nice guy.

My "quickie" headsketch of the Flash from Neal Adams. Took over an hour, due to him signing, visiting, telling stories, taking pictures... But it's a good drawing.

My wife and I both visited with Josh Adams for a while. Sandy was intrigued by his Doctor Who art but more importantly by his Sherlock stuff. She loves the new BBC series. Can't wait for the 3rd season.

Last, but not least was the original color drawing we got from Dan Parent. He had some good pieces already completed, but he really didn't charge much for this one, so how could I resist. My wife came as Rosie the Riveter, so she had him draw Betty the Riveter!

Adams does take forever to draw at conventions. He'll draw a line, then talk for ten minutes, then draw another line or two, then talk for another ten minutes...
I just want to watch him draw. It's infuriating.
