Wonder if the main purpose of this from Amazon's pov was a promotion to get folks to sign up for Amazon local?

I already am signed up, but much of what they send out in Seattle-Tacoma isn't geared towards single people like me.

I joined a Dell business owners pc marketing group awhile back & totally forgot that they were supposed to give me a $25 Amazon GC for some survey which also showed up today With all the bs i go through as a small business owner, it's nice to get the occasional perk! $35 to spend on amazon will be fun. Likely go for a box set or the latest McKennitt, Joplin & Vega.

I've also got more free magazine subscriptions than i know what to do with. I get monthly legit emails from various marketers offering free subs. Unfortunately, it's mostly stuff i don't care about, though i did get a year of Stereophile (which though I like it I haven't had the time to read). Made the mistake of accepting something called "Maxim' which ended up being Playboy with bikinis. While I love seeing beautiful Women, what a waste of paper! And I did take a few others, none of which I have time to read! Newsweek is another i het got free; it's ok, but again i just don't have the time.
