In the book, musician Billy Joel and actor Alec Baldwin reminisce about being kids on Long Island when the Beatles arrived; humor writer Joe Queenan recalls that when he first heard “She Loves You,” at age thirteen, it “was the first time in my life I heard a song that seemed to belong to me”; photographer Henry Grossman takes us into the audience of The Ed Sullivan Show—where the Beatles first appeared—and then on tour with the band.
