I always thought these guys were one of the better synth pop groups, and they've kept their career going since the 80s, unlike other groups from that era who have followed the breakup/get-back-together-for-nostalgia/breakup-again pattern. At their best they combine good tunes and witty but surprisingly serious lyrics. Any of their greatest hits collections are solid listening (unless you just don't like that style of music) and of their albums I thought Very was particularly strong.
