Elton John fans should definitely read "Love is the Cure". It is a book about AIDS, but it's partly autobiographical. Elton himself reads the audiobook version.

I brought the book. Enjoyed it up to the last few chapters which bored me to tears. I have read a lot of rock biographies and it seems to me that the 60s and 70s were a far more interesting time to be a musician compared to today.
