Alright. It's Monday night, I just watched the latest episodes of 'Wolverine And The X-Men' (don't judge me) and this came to mind.
What happens if you dissect Wolverine, straight up the centre, and put the halves in separate rooms.
Does that cause two Wolverines? Can he not regenerate from that?

Does that cause two Wolverines? Can he not regenerate from that? I wouldn't think so. But then, I gave up trying to understand Wolverine well over a decade ago. -- Uncle Rog

Didn't that very thing happen -- although he was ripped in half at the waist, not up the midline -- in ULTIMATE HULK VS. WOLVERINE?
No idea if he healed from the Hulk's tearing him in half, since the series has yet to be finished.

Why doesn't his body expell every bit of adamantium as "foreign" Some things may never be known.

No idea if he healed from the Hulk's tearing him in half, since the series has yet to be finished. I think he was pulling himself towards his legs so he could fix himself, but we'll never find out since it'll probably never get finished.

Actually, the scripts are done.

There is only one Wolverine. The quarks which make up his body "signal" the quantum state of "Wolverineness" to each other instantaneously in space-time, causing only one half of his body (or one piece of it in multiple scraps) to "become" the quantum Wolverine and regenerate.
