I was flipping thru Iron Man #129 yesterday (edited by Roger Stern), and I saw the art credits were Sal Buscema layouts and inks by M. Hands. I've never heard of that guy before. He seemed to have varied styles on every page, which was really interesting. What else has he done? What was it like working with M. Hands? The plot was by a guy named D. Minds. He must have been a character, huh?

M.Hands = Many Hands

I'm going to guess that M. Hands stood for multiple hands, which meant it was gang-inked. Too many inkers to list them all by name.

He's probably related to D. Hands from the seventies. I later found out that stood for "Diverse Hands." Same deal.

D. Minds? Probably Diverse Minds.

They did what they had to do in those days to get a book out on time.
