Just wanted you guys to know that this is the last month that I'll make these zines available. Got tons of work, and not enough time. The print run was very small. Whatever I have after this month is over will be destroyed.

Here are the original details:

ROG 2005: THE TRIUMPHS AND TRIALS OF ROGER STERN. This is a 28-page black and white fanzine dedicated to the writing career of Roger Stern (Amazing Spider-Man, Captain America, Action Comics, Superman, The Avengers). This fanzine contains an interview with the writer, a timeline of his career, photos, and art (scanned from the original art from his classic stories) by Paul Smith, Michael Golden, Mike Mignola, John Romita Jr., Terry Austin and John Byrne. Each zine is hand-numbered to 250. This is a tribute to the extraordinary career of Mr. Stern!

Rog 2005 is produced by George Khoury, a sub-editor for the Eisner-Winning Comic Book Artist magazine and author of Eisner-nominated Kimota!, The Extraordinary Works of Alan Moore, G-Force Animated and True Brit: A Celebration of the Great Comic Book Artists of the UK.

Does anyone know if Roger Stern has any kind of comic book work coming out in the near future? I have heard he and John Byrne have a JLA arc but is there anything else?

I believe that Roger's working on a three-part JLA Classied story for Mike Carlin. And, in England, he's writing Spiderman and the Hulk for Panini. Dying to see what one of those look like.

I've also just finished writing a profile of Mr. Stern for Newsarama, which Matt Brady has agreed to run; waiting on Roger's okay for that. If you have the zine, there's nothing really new, because that had almost 30,000 words, this is more of a profile and a lot shorter at around 3,500 words.
