Hi again Rog. This days i´m reading your run in Incredible Hulk with Sal Buscema, having some fun with old comics.

And what was my surprise when i found that just a few numbers before you enter in the series that The Gamma Giant has a team up with the obscure Dr. Druid.

I was curious, if you can remember of course, That apparition of Anthony Druid was your idea or from Len Wein?. I ask that because i know that in those days you helped him with some deadlines, and of course because I suppose you like the character, after using him in Avengers and in your marvel tales.

What was what caught you attention of the good Doctor?. I never red the old issues in Weird tales, so practically all I have red of this character was from you. For me its very strange, he doesn't look like a standard marvel character, but he fit like a glove in your Avengers.

It was actually Len's idea to use Doctor Druid in the HULK strip, 'cause he kinda dug the way I was "refrying" the character in WEIRD WONDER TALES.

(Druid was originally presented in the original run of AMAZING ADVENTURES as Doctor Droom. And I altered the original stories slightly so as to avoid any confusion with Doctor Doom.)

Yeah, I'm one of the "three" fans who loved Druid in the Avengers! He had a great mix of mundane and magical powers that didn't overwhelm the group like a mage on the level of Stephen Strange would.

Hell, the Avenger coulda just been him and Monica and Ida loved it!
