So I wrote a book during my last term in law school. I put it on Amazon.com last week as an e-book because I'm not willing to go through the torture of sending out letters begging for an agent for the next several years. I put it up for the cheapest price they'll let me set: 99 cents. Is there anyone willing to give it a read and post a review? My impression is that a lot of other self-publishing e-book authors just make alternate accounts and then give themselves glowing "reviews". I can't do that and still look at myself in the mirror. Its a thriller set in Detroit with two lawyers as the protagonists. Big on dialogue, with sparse descriptions. 250 typed pages. Anywho, if you have a Kindle or if you are willing to do the free download of "Kindle on the PC" and give it a look, I would be grateful. If you'd be willing to post a review-- good, bad, indifferent -- I would be even more grateful.

I just bought it, so hey, that's a sale. I'm not sure when I'll get to check it out. I'm curious to see how long it formats to on the Kindle. (The Kindle is the great equalizer on length, since you custom set your font size, line width, etc.).

I can honestly say I was a little bit intrigued by the write up on Amazon.

Jay, thank you. And seriously, if it turns out to be a turd in your book, that's fine. I'm not looking for praise so much as feedback of any sort. Thanks for being willing to give it a look.
