Like a tarmac hump, she lies down dark—until stray car lights bounce her up giggling: "Speed bump." Her life is at play, and we're graham cracker bears. A treat in her hands, I'm a honey biscuit on a parabolic plunge into peanut butter. Then I'm lost against her lips.

Here's mine:

Since the operation, the monkey knew many things. First and foremost, he knew he was a monkey and not a man. And from that, he knew pain. He also knew how to pick the lock to his cage and where the scalpels were kept. The man would be back soon.
