This is my first IMWAN post outside of the ICE refugees forum...I've written a trilogy of novels that are currently available as downloads from Amazon's Kindle store.

First up: "Pixie" http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001AYAFEQ/?tag=imwan-20

Quote:
"S.F.W." author A.M. Wellman returns with "Pixie", a novel about a couple of weeks in the life of a woman who happens to be in the Federal Witness Protection Program. As a girl growing up in Ontario, Nela Perkins once captured Canada's attention with her exploits on the hockey rink. However, as she approaches the age of forty, attention is the last thing she seeks. Ten years after cutting a deal with the F.B.I. in order to avoid prison, Nela quietly lives in a trailer somewhere in Florida, her whereabouts unknown not only to the men against whom she testified, but to her own family as well. With the prospect of another lonely holiday approaching, Nela is already on edge when an ex-lover arrives in Florida with a warning: Trust nobody--and that includes the people she thought were protecting her. For Nela, it's more than enough to cause a major identity crisis!

Followed (or perhaps preceeded) by "Alice" http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001B14L3O/?tag=imwan-20

Quote:
In this "prequel" to his novel "Pixie", A.M. Wellman tells the story of how Pixie Conrad became involved with the Federal Witness Protection Program, through the eyes of F.B.I. Agent Mary Jean Watts. As a young employee in a Toledo, Ohio law office, Pixie has become all too aware that her firm is engaged in some illegal activity. However, she is completely unaware that Alice Harding, her predecessor in her job, vanished without a trace nearly two years earlier--and that her employer is the prime suspect in Alice's disappearance. Special Agent Watts, however, is fully aware of this. As part of the Alice Harding investigation, Mary Jean has Pixie's office under surveillance. But as Pixie finds herself in greater and greater danger, Mary Jean can only listen in helplessly as the Bureau builds its case against the law firm. Ultimately, both of these women will meet in an unexpected, unforgettable way.

The epic concludes in "Blue Bird" http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001B9PFH2/?tag=imwan-20

Quote:
Nearly fourteen years after her involuntary exile from Canada, Pixie Conrad finally emerges from the Federal Witness Protection Program to return to her hometown of Leamington Ontario--in handcuffs. Mythologized in her absence by friends and family, Pixie is to finally stand trial on drug smuggling charges dating back to the 1980's. While she welcomes the opportunity for redemption, her enemies may see her reemergence as an opportunity for retribution. In his stirring conclusion to the Pixie Conrad trilogy begun in "Alice" and "Pixie", A.M. Wellman brings his heroine full circle.

Can't get enough of me? Check out my Myspace page at http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... =140871013 and I occasionally blog at http://andrewwellman.blogspot.com/

This concludes my shameless self-promotion for today. And yes, in doing this, I'm making myself a little sick.

How does this kindle thing work for you?

Does Amazon set up an account for you where you get money dropped in with each download?
