How's that guy gonna feel when Time Fades Away is eventually released on CD. That $780 CD will be worth about 10 bucks. BTW, does anyone happen to know why it hasn't been released yet? Usually, a test pressing is the final step before mass release.

I thought that I heard several years ago (before the On The Beach, etc. CD releases) that they were going to release Time Fades Away and Journey Through The Past.

I've heard the HDCD promo. The sound is excellent.

Or maybe someone bought it, didn't notice that the original post was from Thursday.

It's old enough that it could have just aged off their system. It's also possible that Young & Warner had it pulled - the fact that ebay plays along with the labels fallacy that selling promo's is illegal had long been a bane to ebay sellers.

With the DMCA, the ONLY thing ebay cares about is covering ebay's butt. Have I mentioned lately how much I hate ebay?

Before I read what the thread was about, I figured maybe Neil was putting his old universal player on the market for charity purposes.

Time Fades Away HDCD is available on torrent as about as common as a carton of eggs.

It's not worth $800 or so as a CD in my opinion.
