Manchester 1985 - Heaton Park (earlier home to the Pope's visit and later home to Cities in The Park, Oasis, The Stone Roses and Parklife). The same year as Live Aid, Chris Hewitt convinced the Greater Manchester Council to give him funds to put on the first large rock concert in Heaton Park. The DVD contains: Intro- unique home video of Pete Townshend performing "Won't Get Fooled Again" on acoustic which he specially recorded for big screen video at the concert. All the acts are Introduced by one of the two comperes for the day either Tony Wilson of Factory Records or the BBC's Andy Kershaw. Extracts from the concert sets of Off The Rails, Ram Ram Kino, Pete Fry Band, Tony Crabtree And Jim Milne, Spider Mike King, P J Proby, The High Five, Les Gray And Mud, The Membranes, Cook Da Books, Bad Manners.
