Weird to think about: I remember seeing the first "Eddie" in the theater, one of the first times I experiences the whole, full-on multi-channel sound thing--state-of-the-art at the time.

Whatever happened to John Cafferty? I also remember how "On The Dark Side" somehow started getting airplay long after the film left theaters.

Love the first film and the second wasn't that bad. I'll be getting this, at least we should have better sound.

John Cafferty is still out there. I saw Southside Johnny last year and Cafferty and Beaver Brown were the warmup. Southside was great as always and Cafferty and crew were very good as well.

Cafferty and band scored a few pop and radio hits on their own, after the first movie. "Tough All Over" reached #22 on the pop chart, and "C-I-T-Y" got to #18. "Song and Dance" got a lot of play on WNEW in NY. I wish some label would put together a best-of. Used copies of their Roadhouse CD (from 1988) start at $30 on Amazon.
