I just rewatched it and still love this movie, especially the incredibly beautiful Jennifer Connelly (back then before she went too skinny). However after re-reading Dave Steven's original series, I can see why there were complaints about it being Disneyfied as the humor and sexiness was definitely toned down. Still a fun movie,
