Also due out on February 18 (Epic/Legacy Recordings), the DVD release of Live At Great Woods. Filmed in September of 1991 before a crowd of nearly 20,000 adoring fans at the Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts in Massachusetts, this DVD release features–for the first time on the format–the original long-form video version of this concert, with no interviews edited into the main feature. This DVD reissue has been long requested by Allman Brothers Band fans.

Had it on VHS & DVD for years. Is there any extra footage here Chris ?

It restores the original VHS feature. The DVD, from what I heard, had interview segments edited into the songs and fans of the original VHS release were not happy with it.

I only watched the DVD once, I guess thats why.

I'm in for this, especially w/o the interviews interfering with the flow of the concert. Hopefully we will see a Blu-ray release but if not the standard DVD will do.

I got the standard today (great video quality) and the 2 cd set Live at the Beacon Theatre 1992. Pop-Market had a nice two-fer dealing a week or so ago I jumped on it.
Glad I did, I really wanted these two items.
