This arrived today from the Fox Sale (they're no longing including the book in the photo above, but for $5.00 I won't bitch too loud).
The one thing that irritates me is the trend amongst Blu films to offer 48k (DVD quality) "HD Master Audio". That is a contradiction in terms, & should be banned by the FTC as false advertising. "HD Master" should at minimum be 96/24.

Perhaps that's why it was only $5. I'm curious to know if Amazon copies still include the book, as pictured in the first post. The same image is still on Amazon's own listing page as well.

Mine also has slightly different cover art, though it is the "35th anniversary edition" & has all the bonus features.
Main reason I posted is I an beyond irritated at the audio issue. C'mon Fox, at least be honest it's 16/48. & the 16/48 "HDMA" is only the 7.1. The 2.0 is lossy Dolby!

Linda...I got mine from Amazwan in the past few months and while I haven't opened it yet, it looks like it includes some form of book. Okay...just got curious and opened it. It does have pages inside of the cardboard packaging that's almost entirely pictures...very little text. In other words, it looks like the picture above.

In fact it's been hovering in the 50-off range all month. (Remember, we had it on the Here And Gone board a couple of weeks ago.) Maybe it's being cleared out in favour of that bookless version.

The book is certainly nothing special. The features on the BD are extremely slight, unless I just didn't see something in the menus. I'm glad I got it, but I was sort of hoping for more extras.
