A "Kinks Kollekted 1964-1983" DVD just came out from Universal Netherlands, described as TV performances and video clips, mostly of their 60s prime time stuff. Available from many online stores, but nary a one has posted any reviews so don't know if this is good quality or otherwise. If it's anything like the Hollies Dutch Collection DVD that came out several years ago then it could be pretty good. Of course, Reelin' in the Years should go ahead and do a Kinks mega video project...

Not at all, IP, and I found some additional info on that CD + DVD combo that I posted on your thread...

I heard back from someone who bought this, his comments were:

--the audio from the live and mimed clips has been replaced with the familiar recorded audio (LPs, CDs)

--other minor editing was done on some clips

--overall quality is not clean and pristine, though not bad either, more like good

--it's presented in widescreen format, thus the tops and bottoms of the clips have been cut off, ugh...
