For this release of Night of Dark Shadows:
(a) they decided NOT to restore the lost and found cutting room floor footage, too bad, as it would have helped to make more sense of the disjointed plot. They might still put that out one day...
(b) how could they not put Lara Parker on the cover ??

The missing footage would definitely have been nice. They could add score & subtitles where the sound is gone. But I'll pick up both these, and the new movie which is being released on dvd the same month.

Both Dark Shadows films arrived today. Just finished watching "Night of Dark Shadows" for the first time in over 40 years. It was a pretty simple gothic witch story, much of which I had long forgotten. It was also pretty slow moving and I'm not sure how or if the missing footage would help it along. I had also forgotten how much of a hottie Kate Jackson was back in '71.
