This concert is all over Youtube; I'm sure there are also bootleg DVD's of this show out there, but this appears to be offical product I would like to have a bit more confirmation about this title, but here's what I found:

Filmed at The Summit in Houston, Texas on 20 November 1975, this DVD captures a typically incendiary live performance by The Who at the start of the US leg of their tour in support of “The Who By Numbers” album which had been released earlier that year. The original video footage has been cleaned and the sound remixed by longtime Who collaborator Jon Astley but the show still retains a rawness that encapsulates the energy of The Who’s performance. Looks like another Who DVD I will get. So far every Who concert video I have got is brilliant.

If it's Eagle Rock, I'm betting legit, but I'm in. No hesitation here - I won't have to worry about my burned DVD deteriorating.

And it's a good show.

Yes-this is legit. It won't be much more than what has been out there for years, but I never got the boot, so I am in for sure. There are so many more Pro-shot Who shows which need a release. Eagle has been doing a bangup job with Ozzy (I have to get that this week! ) and the Stones lately and now The Who. may it continue.

Will there be a Blu ray of this release?

This is one of those damned-if-they-do, damned-if-they-don't releases: Up till now, the Who seem to have been reluctant to release live stuff from less-than-stellar source tapes. The problem is that apparently very few of their concerts were professionally recorded over the years--I'm not even sure if the audio of this show is even going to be stereo.

But watching these four guys play is amazing. I'm not a big fan of sitting on the couch and watching concerts on DVD, but I can click on a Youtube clip of the Who and the next thing I know, ten minutes have gone by. At least once a year I find myself watching the entire Youtube video (complete with timecode) of the late, great Scott Halpin sitting in on drums back in 1973. Fascinating stuff, even if the audio/video quality is, um, terrible.

I'll get this. I have had the boot for years and it's terrific.

Wish they had done "Slip Kid" during this tour.....that was the song that got me into the Who back in 1975 when I was 15.

I have a copy of the boot but I'll also splurge for this too.

I'm in! I'll await though (not too long that is) with a hopeful Blu-Ray release.

I wouldn't be surprised if an audio version of this shows up on iTunes at least. I've downloaded audio of DVD shows like U2's Paris show from the Joshua Tree box from iTunes.

Guys, what is the sound quality of this? Is it a SBD recording ? 5.1 sound?

Still very peeved with the terrible sound of the recent YesShows BluRay that still sounds terrible as it did on DVD.

I think you're referring to Yessongs. There has never been a YesShows on any home video format.

That's a question I still have: Is the audio still essentially the audio from the video feed? I hear it's been improved quite a bit, but is it in mono, stereo, or what?
