A fine series. I'm waiting for a cheap way to get just the four features.

What a great series. It's home to one of the most obscure classical music jokes I've ever heard in any form of popular culture. The Katy Sagal's character's name is Lela. Turns out this is her last name. In one episode a character asks her what her first name is. Turns out it's Turanga. The Turangalila Symphony (pronounced turanga-leela) is Oliver Messiaen's orchestral masterpiece. Not the only reason I loved the series and not great comedy but I thought it was funny.

Her name is definitely a play on Turangalila, but I think Leela is still her "first" name.
Turanga Morris and Munda are her parents, so Turanga must be their surname.

Right - it's been so long since I saw that episode the particulars eluded me. I just remembered the punchline.

It is a great show.

Even though I own the DVDs, if I'm flipping through the TV channels and it's
on, I almost always stop to watch the episodes.

I covet this, although considering I own the series run I should probably hold out for some kind of Blu-ray release. I know the last couple of features were released on Blu-ray.
