These 3 volumes, plus bonus discs, were put together very well. Looking back at what is missing and not included...who really cares. We got 13 DVD's, unless you were lucky enough to get copies of the other bonus DVD's, and then you have 19 DVD's of great live material. I hope they release more volumes because I would love to have them. I also hope that more bands do stuff like this because the fan base will always be there.

Mark :headbanger:

By the way, I'm watching the Coventry 1973 show...does Gene go down into the audience during 100,000 Years? I wonder if that's Lydia Criss doing all the dancing. I wish there were some close ups during the show but it's still a great peice of history to see.

I loved this series as well and hope there will be more. I thought there was a ton missing from the non-make-up years and would love to see any archived footage they have with Mark St. John as well as any concerts from the Animalize and Asylum tours.

I have absolutely no desire to see any of the post-reunion stuff with Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer. I hope, if they do a volume four, it won't include much from this band. If they want to go without make-up and produce some new music then I'm all for it, Otherwise, they're a tribute band and they won't get a dime from me for trotting those guys out there as Ace and Peter. It's a joke.

In Japan, a complete KISSology box set was issued, including all nine of the bonus discs. Is anyone surprised by this?

Did you see what KISS is doing...they want the fans to tell them where they should play. You have to submit votes for your area and if enough votes come in, they'll play in your area.

Bullspit. They know they can't sell larger venues anymore so they'll play smaller places in smaller towns so they can say they're going where the fans want them. It reminds me of Revenge when they played 5,000 seat arenas in places like like Omaha and Wichita instead of bigger cities with bigger venues.

On the other hand, that box set is cool as hell. I have all of the individual volumes but I'd have to get that if it were available here. Heh, maybe a blu-rey set some day!

Yeah, I posted that in the main KISS thread, along with a promo clip of the band touting their new contest.

And then they'll say, "We go where our fans are! They demanded this! The will of the people will be served! KISS tonight! KISS TONIGHT!"
