Being a Major Syd Barrett and early Pink Floyd fan I have been eyeing this disc for awhile but not knowing anything about it I had to wait for a used copy and sure enough Newbury's priced one that I could take advantage of.

The Dvd documents a performance by Brazillan band Violeta de Outuno paying tribute, in an absoluetly competent and inspired manner, to the creative genius of Syd Barrett, atue exercise in psychedelia that shows how influential Syd's work still is. Thsi performance was recorded on the last night of the tour (7/17/2006) at the SESI Theatre in Sao Paulo. Concidentally, a few days before the performance came the news of Syd's passing, which turned the event into a historical and emotional experience not only for Syd's fans but alos for the musicians in Violelta de Outono.

If this ever available on Netflix or if you find a used copy like I did you owe to yourself to get it. These guys are brillant. Even the guitarist vocals are spot on. Only complaint is I wished it was longer (just about an hour) but otherwise one Excellent concert!
