Please tell me this will get a US release. It's either Rush or Thin Lizzy that are my favorite band, and I absolutely love these guys. This is something fans have been waiting years for and the bonus stuff is killer! This is the classic Lizzy lineup in their prime!
One of my players can play PAL but this may come out here as the Greatest Hits DVD did last year. Does anyone know if this is coming out here? This apparantley got released in the UK last week, Oct. 16.

I have a documentary DVD on Phil Lynott that came out a few years ago. It's actually pretty good, if you like docs.
Unfortunately, there are maddeningly short clips from this concert that really get you pissed after a while.

Hell yes it's the whole thing plus another show from 1983 and a rare live CD from 1975. And there's also TV clips and performances. What you saw is probably one of the MANY bootlegs posing as official releases where they can't show full songs and have a bunch of journalists babble on. This is the real deal and what Lizzy fans have been waiting many years for.

Bump: this DVD is being released in a proper domestic edition today, October 21st. See the second post for updated ordering details. (The package and contents are identical to the export edition which has been available since February, but the price is a little better.)

has anyone seen this available in a store? I went to Best Buy, Virgin, Borders, etc. Nothing.

J&R had several copies in stock today, price at $17.99.

Believe it or not, I picked this up last Friday, at FYE in my local mall. Cost $19.99, but that's the same price that AmazWan has it for now anyways.

I picked it up earlier this week at a chain called The Exchange (formerly Record Exchange). Not sure if they're local-only (Pittsburgh) area or not. $16.

Still think I may have to track down the UK Tour CD eventually, if it gets cheap enough.

Stopped by 'Rama today during Jimbo Lunch, they said they'd be holding the DVD for me on Tuesday.

I got the Japanese version[thought I was going to get the UK one but the store owner forgot that my dvd player plays PAL discs]which ended up costing me $70......whoops![big whoops].

The picture quality on this disc is pretty good but the 5.1 track is mediocre[sounds like fake 5.1]
