Always expanding the boundaries of pop music, in 1985 Sting embarked on his ambitious, first solo tour. This film is brought to new life with a 1080p high-definition transfer and digitally remastered DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and PCM stereo. Originally capturing this historic event on film, director Michael Apted documented the formation of 'The Blue Turtles Band' featuring Omar Hakim, Darryl Jones, Kenny Kirkland, Branford Marsalis, Dolette McDonald & Janice Pendarvis. The band showcases their first live show at the Theatre Mogador in Paris. Highlighted are 3 music videos. Also included are the original film trailer, the original promotional radio spots and a photo gallery.
