Description
Steve Marriott is in brilliant form in this concert filmed in Saarbruecken, Germany in 1987 at which he performs his favorite numbers, including several Small Faces hits. Marriott was the frontman of two of the U.K.'s biggest groups of the late Sixties and Early Seventies, Small Faces and Humble Pie. After Humble Pie disbanded in 1975 he pursued a solo career, as well as becoming re-involved with his former bands when both later re-formed. One of Britrock's unsung heroes, Marriott never achieved the solo success his songwriting and music talents clearly deserved and was about to unite with Peter Frampton when he tragically died in a house fire in 1991.
