Did you guys watch this show when you were little? This is the nationally syndicated Bozo, which was the one run in New York and I think was actually taped in Boston. (The local Chicago Bozo show, which was a different programme altogether with a different actor playing the clown, isn't yet on DVD. A lot of Amazon customers are asking for the Chicago version in the reviews for this box set, but this DVD set features "my" Bozo and probably also Jimbo's, JohnG's, Chris', Beatle Pete's ... :))

[title]Bozo[/title] is the World's Most Famous Clown! The Bozo the Clown show ran for 47 years on TV, making it one of the longest running shows ever! 30 live-action ½ hour full color episodes. Each features a 5-minute cartoon! Contains a special interview with Larry "Bozo the Clown" Harmon. Digitally re-mastered and transferred from Larry Harmon's original film masters.

There was also a Bozo show in Los Angeles. I was on the show and was extremely disappointed that you had to watch the cartoons on these tiny little tv monitors and not on some big screen.

This is the first Bozo I knew. When I lived in Florida, I watched the Chicago Bozo with my kids as we had WGN down there. They're both great.

Yep, that's my Bozo!

One thing I remember is the school playground legend about the kid who told Bozo to "Cram it, Clownie!" on live TV. A google search suggets that it may well have really happened.
