Long out of print, if you're a fan of Rocky Horror, this is the closest I have seen another film come to that attitude. They are also quite different (for one thing this is 80's Rock Sci-fi); but I've always loved this film & highly recommend it to the quirky amongst us. I was fortunate to get the dvd at the time of release, but with all the extras I'm seriously considering grabbing this.

If you are fond of this movie, Geff, definitely get this Blu-ray. The picture is stunning- Vinegar Syndrome does amazing restorations. It blows the DVD away. The extras are just icing on the cake. I bought it when they first released it on Black Friday 2017 as a Vinegarsyndrome.com exclusive (it came with a slip-cover, the general release does not.). If you like quirky, check out their web-site. Great people to deal with as well.

I hope this inspires someone to reissue the soundtrack too, which has been unavailable for a long time and quite expensive in the collectors circle.

I first saw Liquid Sky at the Waverly in Greenwich Village in 1983. My friend and I were dragging our suitcases with us, because we went straight to JFK from the theater for our flight to Europe for a two-week vacation. Those were the days....

It's a weird-ass movie, but I always liked it. The soundtrack was available for a very short time and I missed it. It's been very pricey when I could even find it. I'm not holding my breath for a reissue on CD, but I'd take a lossless download if I could get it that way.

So, in anticipation of this reissue, Liquid Sky is booked for a limited run at the Quad Cinema this weekend. I think I'll pop over this afternoon for a screening.

Ordered! My girlfriend turned me on to this movie ages ago. It is a strange flick to say the least but so cool and unique.
