OMD released a new live CD this week from a show they did in the UK a few nights ago which was available for download immediately for those who pre-ordered thru PledgeMusic (which many artists are using now going around the record companies).
The CD of the show which was called Architecture And Morality/ Dazzle Ships is also shipping and contains those 2 full albums.
Kinda like what Gary Numan is doing. He also has a PledgeMusic thing going on a new album he is creating.

My CD physical copy is shipping, I got the download already and it does sound fantastic especially the album Dazzle Ships! Genetic Engineering sounds great live.

I wonder what they'll be playing on the tour with Howard Jones and Barenaked Ladies? They probably won't have time for more than 9 or 10 songs, at most.

ok rick, here's my "two cents worth:"
1- i'm not a fan of live albums, in general - there ARE exceptions (this is not one of them)
2- i've seen/HEARD OMD live on 4 or 5 occasions (beginning with the effing amazing "pacific age" tour - one of my top 10 favorite concerts ever!) -
and i'm quite the critic, especially of my favorite artists, and OMD is absolutely one of my faves
3- as to the quality of the recoding: i'd give it a B+ with a little too much crowd noise, clear but a little tinny, and some uneven volume controlling
4- liner notes are total crap - you'll see what i mean if/when you get it
5- are there gems within - yeah, i guess - i'd put this set in the "for serious fans and collectors only" category

hope that helps.
and as always, i'd love to read what others have to say about this set.

It does help my friend. It moves to "if I find it used & inexpensive" list.
