This album takes it back to Barnard College in 1995! Maybe you were at this show and always wanted a copy. Or perhaps you didn’t get the tour postcard and missed it. Or maybe you just want to hear Ani play some old school Prince- we have you covered with this album!

This show marks the first time Ani performs her current set list staple, “Napoleon”. It also has some rare and underplayed gems like “Asked You First.” It has Andy Stochansky. It has banter. It has poetry. It has hand percussion. Oh and did we mention Ani covers “When Dove’s Cry”?

So instead of trying to fill your void of the 90s with crop tops and oversized flannels, try this out for a spin.

Physical album contains 2 discs of music and packaging drawn up by the little folk singer herself.

Both Hands
Buildings And Bridges
Worthy
Napoleon
Asked You First
32 Flavors
Letter To A John
Face Up And Sing
Crime For Crime

The Million You Never Made

My IQ
Not So Soft
When Doves Cry

No, but I have them all & they've all been good. One (New Orleans I think) was burned, the rest are factory pressed. I'm in.

I decided to buy it before the 10% discount goes away. She has been getting into hi-res, but none of the official bootlegs have gone that way. I believe I own every one of them. I hope it's factory pressed. Shipping adds $2.94 for a total of $11.94

Arrived today. Packaging review:

Factory Pressed
Cardboard packaging with no trays & no inner sleeves
Only 1 small scratch

Those Japan Rice paper sleeves are so cheap (& they'd be WAY cheaper in bulk) I wish all the labels would use the bloody things.

Will post more after I play it.

Tricky, it's a mono cassette soundboard (per the liner notes). Likely 1st gen. Sound is ok (not great, but ok); seems to be system dependent. I preferred it on my computer over my headphone system in my bedroom. It's Ani on acoustic & a drummer. The drums weren't optimally recorded or mixed. That said it's definitely listenable.

It's also only $10 for a 2 disc set
