Pretty light on CDs.....but a supposed deluxe edition of the recent Joey Ramone album.

I would have been all over the Eric Burdon/Greenhornes release, but vinyl only.

There's Rolling Stones, Zappa, Beefheart, Velvet Underground, and other good vinyl only stuff

Slim pickings, indeed. I'll wind up getting the Stones EP at some point.

...but I would have been interested in a lot more if they hadn't been vinyl only.

Nothing for me.

At the right price, I might have an interest in the Zappa and Tenacious D releases (shouldn't that be Tenacious D: Mark II?), but the only other thing that provokes even a twinge of interest is the Johnny Cash, but in all likelihood, I probably won't get anything. I know this - I won't be out at a record store that day.

Vinyl isn't my thing, but the Bowie picture disc is pretty cool...

Additionally, I'd be interested in digital versions of Cee-Lo's Donny Hathaway cover, the Norah Jones remixes, and the Bettye Lavette EP.

The Joe Strummer set is a physical release of tracks included in the digital-only The Hellcat Years release.

Any chance that's the alternate mix from the 70's picture disc 45 which i don't THINK has seen cd yet?

I don't know the Bowie discography at that level of detail... there was an an "original single mix" included on the 30th Anniversary Edition of Aladdin Sane.

FYI, the new 7" has "The Jean Genie (BBC Top of the Pops 1973)" as a b-side.

I will have to check & see if i own the BBC version, I probably do.

About 5 years ago, I made a 70 minute cd of all of the (mostly) legit Bowie that had only been released on vinyl. Again, without going upstairs to check I think of the official released parts all that's left on the cdr that's unreleased on official cd is the Mooncrest Arnold Corns 12" (I was lucky enough to buy & keep a real official legal copy in the 80's).

Meh. I'll be staying home. Not interested in vinyl. Given the limited cd offerings for RSD, there's rarely anything that appeals to me. On those few occasions when there is something I want, I've found that I can usually pick up a leftover copy afterwards.

I'll opt for the record convention next weekend instead.

Picked up the Jellyfish (#804), the Dylan single (the alternate Meet Me In The Morning is outstanding, and really different), and the Dead Winterland 5/30/71. Sounds great, but the performance is pretty ragged-- surprising choice. Can't imagine I'll listen to it a second time.

Got the Jellyfish (#19, now for sale at another... forum) and the Forever Changes LP + 45.

Jamal had several copies of the Jellyfish CD still on hand, got #1710. Also grabbed a copy of the Death May Be Your Santa Claus CD comp.
