Thanks, Jason. I've moved the list up to the opening post (downloadable PDF).

I'll be getting several titles ... a few months later when they're inevitably released on CD. :)

Yes, if you are patient you can usually get them on CD down the road!

There are only 4 titles coming out on Black Friday on CD, one of which I really want, and which is not listed as an "RSD first" title, "Raymond Scott- The Jingle Workshop: Midcentury Musical Miniatures 1951-1965". Since Sundazed/Modern Harmonic says they are only releasing 300 copies, and its release type is "RSD Limited Run / Regional Focus Release" which sounds like it will not be available in my area, I doubt I will manage to snag a copy. I hope it comes out in a retail version after, but the listing doesn't sound promising.

Other titles I am interested in getting:
These are 'RSD First' releases that I will likely wait to get, preferably on CD:
James Brown -Live at Home: The After Show
JBs -More Mess On My Thing
Frank Zappa -Peaches En Regalia

And "RSD Exclusive" releases that I wouldn't mind:
Miles Davis -Early Minor: Rare Miles From The Complete In A Silent Way Sessions
Pink Purple -Red

In the regional stuff, only the Lisa Loeb thing is of interest to me.

In the RSD First, I'm looking at the Ace Frehley disc, Marshall Tucker CD, and definitely the Zappa 10".

In the exclusives, I'm curious about the Cheap Trick and Devo live sets, and I'll take a peek at Geddy Lee and Alice Cooper.

I don't see Lisa Loeb in the pdf. Are you talking about the Stay single with a couple live tracks that was mentioned in her last email?

I don’t get her emails. It’s in the regional release section. I think it’s a 12” single, so that sounds about right.

The Lisa Loeb single is on page 4 of the .pdf, Geff.

Thanks, Jason - I didn't have the PDF in front of me when I replied. Now I'm more interested, but the regional things never seem to hit here.

What does it mean if it's a RSD Exclusive and there's no indication of how many are pressed?
Example: Alice Cooper: Billion Dollar Babies Live

It’s not on the RSD site the last I looked, but the Alice is an edition of 6000. I’m thinking this is going to be like the Elton/Ray Cooper release - vinyl exclusive for RSD, general CD later.

This show is already available on CD as the second disc of Rhino's Deluxe Edition of Billion Dollar Babies.

But for those of us who weren't smart enough to buy that... :(

Massively disappointing selection at the store I went to today (and the only one I'm hitting today). They had the Ace Frehley LP and the Cheap Trick 7", but I decided I didn't want to pay the price for either of them today (much less interest in the CT disc). I'll try another store or two in the next couple weeks, and may find time on a day off to venture to the local that gets a huge selection of RSD stuff.

Edit: Forgot to mention I did score a nice-looking original copy of Kiss's "Creatures Of The Night". It's the old Casablanca pressing, so it should be the original mix with the not-so-compressed drums. And the original makeup cover.

I believe it's also the concert seen in the film "Good To See You Again, Alice Cooper"...?

Got the Cheap Trick LP but passed on the single. Didn't realize the album was going to sound similar to bootleg. Oh well. Nice to have this New Year's Eve show, since I was there.
