Thanks for posting the link to the list. I don't see one vinyl release I want this year. And despite the media's attempts to proclaim the return of cassettes, I don't see any cassette releases on the list. CDs are given even shorter shrift than usual- of the main list of releases, only Jerry Garcia Acoustic Band's "Almost Acoustic" gets a CD release. There are a few in the Black Friday First Releases list. The Yep Roc various artist comp, "3 X 4" (CD version), is the only title I am interested in getting out of all the releases. And if I miss it, it should be getting a general release early next year, per this thread:

So no big rush to the record store for me this go-round. Of course, I WILL go anyway! Just not rushing. Perhaps a saunter or a meander.

Anyone venturing out? There's three things I want listed, but will just buy online when the smoke clears. Anyway, as we're celebrating thanksgiving tomorrow, I'm busy with cooking today. Soundtrack is of course "Cookin with the Miles Davis Quintet."

I was planning to go out, but when I woke this morning I decided to stay home with the family. As noted in my post above, the only title I think I will get is Yep Roc's "3 X 4" and I figure I will be able to get it later.

Got the Zappa Only Money picture disc mono lp.

Heading out a little later because Barnes & Noble has signed books that I want. I'll make one stop for the stuff I'm interested in, but I'm not going on a jaunt like I would for regular RSD.

Here in Connecticut the bitter cold really put a bite in the RSD buying. My guess is since a big block of the US was under such a bitter freeze that perhaps many titles will still be available tomorrow.

Picked up the Alice Cooper - that was the only thing I found on my list.

I will visit my inde tomorrow. Maybe I will go for the vinyl 'Sweetheart of The Rodeo' if they have it.

I was looking at that today at my indie. I didn't see a track listing on it, it has everything else.

Picked up Cheap Trick archives and Yes 'Time and A Word'.

I scored the Weezer picture disc for my sister. I don't think she has a turntable, but Weezer is her favorite band.

Didn't even hit the stores until Monday - I Did get what I wanted, the 31st of February (Pre-Allman Bros) album and the Third Man reissues: John Lee Hooker (Vol 1 & 2) and The A2 Records comp (vintage Detroit /Ann Arbor garage from the 60's)
