I really want the unreleased live albums. I suspect the price will be way too high to justify 8 shows. Crap; I was hoping this would be mostly rarities. Martin Turner's USA expanded remaster of Argus was really bad; & the box's sound quality wasn't all that great, so I don't need more copies of the albums I already have (which is all of them; I believe I'm 100% catalog, & 100% on disc through later than 1990). I do hope Turner doesn't master this set.

This has been in the works for years and all the sources are the original master tapes.

Not sure why it's on a crappy label like Snapper.

Anyway, I want it, but the price will likely be insane.

If it's priced like the Golden Earring box, I can swing it.

But I bet it's obscene.

I am very interested in this. But as with IP the price will determine. Nice to have everything under one roof though.

Like I said for me the big problem is I already own everything here on cd except 8 shows. Wish the 8 shows were available separately. Christ, I still want & still can't afford the Ian Hunter mega box, which seems to have more unique stuff than this.

If it does hit general release I bet it will eliminate some of the live discs and other goodies.

I'd love to have this, but $334 plus S&H would get me a deserved "Are you kidding me?" from my girlfriend.

I mean, that's bill money or several dinners right there.

Unlike what BMG did for the ELP box, Snapper did put the huge "exclusive" boxes for Streetwalkers and Steve Hillage into general release, for about $100 apiece less than what they cost through Pledge.

If you're a Wishbone Ash superfan, don't take a chance. But I'm guessing this box will end up on Amazon too.

I have no idea. My post was mostly with the intent of sharing the current (probably ) list price. Ash has said it was going to be limited; I hope Linda is right. I also likely can't afford this; partially do to $'s & partially because I'm already 99% catalog & there is a lot of previously released stuff here. There are also a number of "grey area shows that UK companies issued with decent sound; I don't know how many of those are on here.

If I was wealthy I would buy this & I would have bought the Ian Hunter mega box. In both cases, it would sure be nice if the artist had offered long time fans who have bought all their albums the opportunity to only buy the previously unreleased portion.
