AP is releasing a line called "Ultra Tape". They're just analogue masters on 15 ips R2R. I hope you're sitting down......... The price is $450 each. I. THINK. NOT.

I actually owned an Akai as a child & early teen; they weren't half bad for the price.

It is a quality format; I just think $450.00 for 1 album is freakin ridiculous.

Some of the 60's tapes do sell for a fortune.....
